While our Sunday Worship Services are the central gathering of the church, our Bible Study groups provide a vital opportunity for deeper fellowship, interactive learning, and personal application of God’s Word. We believe that discipleship happens best in the context of relationships, and these small groups are designed to foster exactly that.
We meet regularly in a more informal setting to dive deep into the Scriptures. These studies are open to everyone—whether you are new to the Bible or have been studying it for decades. We approach the text with humility and a desire to understand what God is saying to us today.
What We Do
Our studies typically involve working through a specific book of the Bible or a significant theological topic. We use an interactive format where participation is encouraged.
- Inductive Study: We often use an inductive approach, observing the text carefully, interpreting its meaning in context, and applying it to our lives. We want to be careful handlers of the Word of Truth.
- Discussion: We value the insights and questions of every participant. It is a safe place to ask hard questions and wrestle with difficult truths together. We believe that iron sharpens iron.
- Theology in Practice: We don’t just want to fill our heads with knowledge; we want our lives to be transformed. We constantly ask, “How does this truth change the way I live, work, and relate to others?”
Fellowship and Prayer
More than just an academic class, these groups are a place for “one another” ministry. We spend time sharing our joys and struggles, and we pray for one another. It is in these smaller settings that we can truly bear one another’s burdens and encourage each other in the faith. This intimate fellowship is a key part of our church life.
Why Join a Group?
The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. Joining a Bible Study group is a practical way to deepen your connection with the church family. It helps to bridge the gap between Sunday services and daily life. It is also a wonderful step towards deeper involvement and potential membership in the church. If you are looking to grow in your understanding of the Bible and build meaningful relationships with other believers, we warmly invite you to join one of our groups.
Please contact us to find out the current schedule and topics being studied. We would love to help you find a group that fits you.
