Sunday School

Sunday School

At Good News Church, we view our children as a precious gift from God. We place a high value on their spiritual growth and well-being. Our Sunday School program runs during our Sunday services, providing a safe, engaging, and biblically faithful environment for children to learn about God, His Word, and His love for them.

Our primary goal is to support parents in their God-given responsibility to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). We believe that the church and the home should work in partnership to disciple the next generation.

Our Curriculum and Teaching

We use a carefully selected curriculum that is Gospel-centered and age-appropriate. Rather than just teaching moral lessons or isolated stories, we aim to show children the big picture of the Bible—God’s redemptive plan through Jesus Christ. From the Old Testament accounts to the New Testament teachings, every lesson points to Jesus.

Our dedicated teachers are members of the church who love the Lord and have a heart for children. They are committed to:

Safety and Care

The safety of your children is our top priority. We have strict child protection policies in place, and all our volunteers undergo necessary background checks. We want every child to feel safe, welcomed, and valued.

Building a Foundation for Life

We believe that the seeds of faith planted in childhood can bear fruit for a lifetime. By grounding children in the truths of the Bible, we hope to equip them with a solid foundation to navigate the challenges of life with faith and wisdom. We want them to know that they are part of a larger church family that loves them and prays for them.

Fellowship for Families

Sunday School is also a great way for families to connect. As children build friendships with one another, parents also have the opportunity to build relationships with other parents in the church. We encourage families to be active members of our community, supporting one another in the journey of parenting and discipleship. Being part of a local church provides a village of support where your children can see the faith modelled not just at home, but in the lives of other adults and peers.
